Special Thanks.

The QMDRA and its members owe it's wonderful past and exciting future to a few people who have backed the club with energy and spirit, above and beyond the level of most.

Richard Anderson - Club Founder.
Put simply, without Richard, the QMDRA would not exist. He was the man who had the vision (not to mention the money!) to seek out other likeminded individuals, form a club, purchase many thousands of dollars worth of equipment, and do the hard work of tying it all together into the magnificent organization we have today.

Chad Macey - Current President.
Chad is new to RC Drag Racing but has already shown his committment by obtaining sponsorships to assist in driving the QMDRA forward. Chad has a vision and has already injected time, money and hard work into the persuit of excellence for the QMDRA and it's members!

Adam Soloman - Starter.
Over the last few years, our club meetings have run smoothly due to the dedication of Adam. Adam's voluntary work has ensured the timing equipment made it to every race event and we had someone to rely on to start the races and record the performances.

Ray Lawrence - Webmaster.
Ray took it upon himself to setup a drag race program to assist in the process of recording races and writing race reports. Ray also takes care of the clubs website.

Jeff Morris
One of the few remaining original members, (taking a break in 2008) Jeff shouldered much of the responsibility of keeping the club going during a difficult period when a number of older racers left the QMDRA, and very few new members came along to fill the void.

John Solomon
John's trusty old Ford F100 has been the backbone of the clubs transportation system for the last five years. When we have too much to move by hand, or we're travelling for an event outside our normal location, John can always be relied upon to help out.

Brisbane Airport Corporation
Thank you to the folks at the Brisbane Airport. Due to their generosity, we have had a large area of former car park as the site of our track since mid 1997 - 2006. Although located in the middle of a multi-million dollar complex, the Corporation officials kindly chose not to charge any lease, a gesture that has helped the club significantly.

South Pine Sports Association
Thanks to the SPSA for providing our current track at the South Pine Sports Complex at Brendale.
